Case Study: Global Citizen
Liquid were asked by Fulwell 73 to produce a swathe of content and designs to be displayed on the HUGE screens for an 10 hour festival celebrating the 100th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s birth.
This huge event was headlined by Beyonce and Jayzee, Coldplay, Ed Sheeren and a host of other big name stars, as well as many notable speakers, pledging their support for Global Citizen’s causes. Global Citizens is an amazing organisation who’s mission is to build a movement of 100M action-taking Global Citizens to help achieve our vision of ending extreme poverty by 2030.
Our sequences had to sync across vast 3 screens and act as backgrounds information graphics and content for speakers and performers across the day and into the evening.
The main structure was a massive red digital arch that framed the main stage. To each side there were screens that supported background animations developed from the Global Citizen brand.
Liquid created multiple loops that were designed to create different moods and paces that worked for a host of acts and speakers. We also created sequences that reflected the 5 themes developed by Mandela when he was imprisoned : Freedom, Future, Imprisonment, Struggle and Unity.
